BSU and George Washington University Explore Academic Cooperation
Baku State University (BSU) hosted a delegation from George Washington University to discuss opportunities for academic collaboration.
The meeting brought together BSU Rector Elchin Babayev, Rector's Advisor on Quality Assurance Asiman Ilyasov, Dean of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at George Washington University Michael Feuer, and university representative Sevinj Mammadova.
During the discussions, both sides explored prospects for cooperation in education and research, including the implementation of joint research projects, faculty and student exchange programs, and collaborative initiatives within doctoral studies. Special attention was given to the potential development of double degree programs between the two institutions.
Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized the importance of fostering ties with George Washington University, noting that such partnerships play a key role in expanding BSU’s international academic network. He expressed confidence that the combined scientific and academic capacity of both universities would serve as a strong foundation for successful joint projects.
