Baku State University (BSU) and the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) of Israel held a joint scientific seminar on industrial mathematics.

Rector Elchin Babayev opened the seminar, highlighting the successful cooperation with HIT. The first graduates of the universities' double degree program have already had their graduation ceremony, and the partnership will continue in various areas.

After the introductory speech by President Eduard Yakubov of HIT, Adir Pridor, the Chairman of HIT's Executive Committee and Founder and Head of the Institute of Industrial Mathematics, presented a lecture titled 'Applied Mathematics and Modernization' to BSU students and young scientists as part of the seminar.
