BSU and IBA Expand Cooperation on Student Career Development
The BSU Career and Alumni Center held a meeting with representatives of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA) to discuss student career development and new joint initiatives.
Head of the Career Planning Department, Gunel Gurbanova, informed the guests about the Center’s activities and highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation with employers. IBA representatives introduced several proposals to support students’ skill development and presented the “Faydamania” project aimed at improving youth financial literacy.
The parties also discussed future collaboration opportunities, including startup-focused projects, hackathons, trainings, seminars, and internship programs that reflect real work conditions at IBA. Bank representatives expressed readiness to provide both technical and mentoring support.
The meeting was considered an important step toward expanding partnership and enhancing career opportunities for BSU students.
