BSU and Justice Ministry’s Forensic Science Center Sign Cooperation Memorandum
Baku State University (BSU) and the Forensic Science Center of the Ministry of Justice have signed a memorandum of cooperation to strengthen collaboration in forensic science education, research, and professional training.
The memorandum provides for joint efforts in preparing qualified forensic experts, enhancing students’ practical skills, promoting scientific research, integrating innovative technologies into forensic practice, and publishing joint academic works.
Under the agreement, BSU students majoring in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, geography, philology, geology, and law will have the opportunity to undertake internships at the Forensic Science Center. The parties will also implement specialized training programs and collaborate on research projects in various fields of forensic science.
The memorandum supports the implementation of Azerbaijan’s 2026–2030 Concept for the Development of Forensic Science and aims to strengthen the link between higher education and professional practice while contributing to the development of forensic expertise in line with international standards.
