BSU and KOBIA organized joint scientific seminar on Hybrid Energy Systems
Baku State University (BSU) and The Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBİA) organized a scientific seminar titled "Hybrid Energy Systems and Their Future Perspectives," dedicated to the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World."
The Director of the Center for Scientific Activities and Innovations at BSU, Mais Suleymanov, noted that several works are being carried out in the country related to the development of renewable energy sources and the gradual reduction of the use of traditional energy systems. In this regard, the use of hybrid energy systems acquires special significance.
The Deputy Director of the Center for Excellence in Research, Development, and Innovation at BSU, and the Head of the Nano Research laboratory, Mustafa Muradov, highlighted that the youth utilize the opportunities of grant competitions announced by KOBİA and the Youth Foundation to implement their projects.
Then, the junior research fellow of the Nano Research Laboratory, Orkhan Gulahmedov, spoke about green energy sources, the global energy crisis, and modern trends in its solution. He informed about the ongoing work on the project "Development of a Hybrid Energy System Based on Triboelectric Nanogenerators and Its Integration into a Smart Backpack."
