A delegation led by Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil, Rector of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University (Turkey), visited Baku State University (BSU).

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the university's history, structure, and academic and research activities. He emphasized BSU’s strong collaborations with leading Turkish universities and highlighted the potential for further cooperation with Kırşehir Ahi Evran University in science and education.

In response, Rector Mustafa Kasım Karahocagil outlined the key focus areas of his institution and introduced the internal quality assurance system developed by Kırşehir Ahi Evran University.

Following the discussions, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic and research collaboration. The agreement includes joint research projects, student and faculty exchanges, the development of joint academic programs, and enhanced academic mobility. Additionally, both institutions committed to fostering knowledge exchange by organizing conferences, seminars, and other scientific events.
