Baku State University (BSU) and Navoi State University of Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation.

The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Navoi State University Rector Mukhiddin Kalonov.

The memorandum outlines collaboration in a range of areas, including the implementation of joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposiums, short-term courses, and training programs. It also envisions joint scientific research, co-publication in scientific journals, the development of joint academic programs and curricula, and the exchange of scientific and administrative staff, students, master's and doctoral candidates, and researchers.

Founded in 1983, Navoi State University is recognized as one of Uzbekistan’s leading higher education institutions.
