Elchin Babayev, the Rector of Baku State University (BSU) met with Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın, the Rector of Nishantashı University.

Elchin Babayev said “During the Patriotic War  Azerbaijan-Turkey relations  became an example of true brotherhood and provided moral support to our country”. The rector informed about the development of education and science in Azerbaijan in recent years, including the activities and international relations of BSU, its cooperation with universities of the Turkic-speaking states.

Senay Yalchin noted the development of relations between the two countries in political, economic, educational, cultural and other fields.

The parties exchanged views on the further development of scientific and educational ties between BSU and Nishantashı University.  The meeting concluded with the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation.
