An online meeting was held between the staff of the Scientific Library of Baku State University (BSU) and the Scientific Library of Nakhchivan State University (NSU), aimed at exploring new opportunities for accessing international electronic databases.

Director of the BSU Scientific Library, Nigar Ismayilova, provided an overview of the library’s structure, resources, and ongoing activities. She also highlighted efforts to establish partnerships between university libraries and international organizations and publishing houses.

In turn, Director of the NSU Scientific Library, Khumar Mamedova, shared insights into the library's development priorities, subscribed academic databases, international publications, and its collection of electronic resources.

Head of Department at the BSU Scientific Library, Jamila Yusifova, spoke about the Azerbaijan Library and Information Consortium (Az.KİK), which operates within the university. She discussed its members, future prospects, and international collaborations, particularly with the Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL.net) consortium. She also provided information on services offered to consortium members, the current subscription to EBSCO, and steps taken toward EIFL.net membership.

The meeting concluded with an interactive discussion, during which participants exchanged ideas and answered questions.
