A memorandum of understanding between Baku State University (BSU) and Tashkent State Medical University of the Republic of Uzbekistan has been signed by the rectors of the two institutions, Elchin Babayev and Shohrat Boymuradov.

The memorandum outlines cooperation in joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, internships, and research initiatives. It also includes provisions for joint publications in scientific journals, the development of academic programs, curricula and syllabi, as well as the exchange of academic and administrative staff, students, master’s students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.

Founded in 1920, Tashkent State Medical University is one of Uzbekistan’s most prestigious higher education institutions.
