BSU and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies sign Cooperation Agreement
Baku State University (BSU) and Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies of Uzbekistan (TSUV) have signed Cooperation Agreement on science and education. The overall objective of the Agreement is to strengthen the cooperation ties between the universities including academic exchange and the joint research work.
The online event was moderated by Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of BSU Nigar Ismailzade.
Emphasizing the importance of cooperation on the issues of mutual interest Rector of TSUV Gulchohra Rikhsieva stressed that the Agreement would promote cooperation between students and faculty, as well as general integration between the two universities.
Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev informed the Uzbek partners about the activities of BSU and the educational process. He noted the broad and mutually beneficial bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, especially in the field of education.
The event was also attended by Vice-rector of TSUV Elyor Makhmudov and Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of BSU Elkhan Azizov.
The agreement was signed by rectors Elchin Babaev and Gulchohra Rikhsieva for the period of 5 (five) years.
