BSU and the International Turkic Academy Sign Memorandum of Understanding
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and the International Turkic Academy.
The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and President of the International Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev during the opening ceremony of the 1st International Turkic World Conference on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence and the Autumn School.
The main objective of the memorandum is to strengthen cooperation in science, education, culture, and youth development, and to promote the creation of a shared scientific space and deeper integration within the Turkic world.
Under the agreement, the parties will jointly implement research projects to study and promote the history, language, culture, and heritage of the Turkic peoples; organize conferences, seminars, and symposia; and prepare scientific publications and analytical reports addressing contemporary challenges in the Turkic world.
The memorandum also envisions collaboration in key scientific fields such as artificial intelligence, climate change, energy security, and biomaterials, as well as support for the scientific and creative work of students and young researchers.
