BSU and Tianjin University Launch Academic Cooperation
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Tianjin University.
The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Tianjin University President Liyuan Chai.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in organizing joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, and training programs, as well as conducting joint research and publishing scientific works. It also includes the development of joint academic programs and the exchange of faculty members, researchers, administrative staff, and students at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.
Founded in 1895, Tianjin University is one of China’s leading higher education institutions and is ranked 257th in the 2026 QS World University Rankings, 51st in the Asian University Rankings, and in the 201–250 band of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
