A memorandum of understanding was signed between Baku State University (BSU) and the University of Geological Sciences of Uzbekistan.

The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Rector Azam Kadirkhodjaev.

The memorandum provides for cooperation in joint research projects, conferences, seminars, training programs, and academic exchanges. It also includes collaboration on joint publications, curriculum development, and the exchange of students, doctoral candidates, researchers, and administrative staff.

Founded in 2020, the University of Geological Sciences is considered one of Uzbekistan’s leading specialized higher education institutions.
