Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev met with Sherzodkhon Kudratkhodja, Rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation between the universities of the two fraternal countries, particularly in the areas of journalism and media education and research. Special emphasis was placed on launching a double degree program and outlining concrete steps toward its implementation.

The rectors also agreed to organize student and faculty exchanges, implement joint projects and events, and strengthen media training programs. Both sides expressed their intention to continue mutual visits and to develop a detailed action plan to advance their cooperation.
