BSU and University of Nova Gorica Sign Cooperation Agreement
Baku State University (BSU) and the University of Nova Gorica, Slovenia, have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation. The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and University of Nova Gorica Rector Boštjan Golob.
The agreement provides for the implementation of joint projects, including the organization of conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, courses, and training programs, as well as the conduct of joint research activities. It also covers cooperation in joint publications in scientific journals, the development of joint academic programs, curricula, and syllabi, and the exchange of faculty members, administrative staff, undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, and researchers.
Founded in 2001, the University of Nova Gorica is ranked in the 801–1000 band of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2026.
