Baku State University (BSU) and Makhambet Utemisov West Kazakhstan University have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation.

The agreement was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and West Kazakhstan University Rector Nurlan Sergaliyev. It envisages joint projects, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, symposia, short-term courses, internships, and collaborative research.

The memorandum also covers joint publications in scientific journals, the development of joint academic programs, curricula and syllabi, as well as the exchange of academic and administrative staff, students, master’s and doctoral candidates, and researchers.
