Baku State University has announced admission to its PhD doctoral programs for 2026.

The submission of documents for admission to doctoral studies will be conducted electronically from May 19 to June 9, 2026, through the Centralized Education Information System.

Applicants wishing to enroll in doctoral studies must register at portal.edu.az and upload the required documents to the portal.

It should be noted that the Admissions Committee reviews applicants’ documents and determines the compatibility of their specialization with the chosen doctoral program.

During the document submission process, applicants must also submit written consent from their prospective academic supervisor to the Admissions Committee. The application process will not be considered complete without the supervisor’s approval. The Admissions Committee will decide on admission to the entrance examinations based on the opinion of the prospective academic supervisor and the submitted documents.

In this regard, applicants are advised, after uploading the required documents to the portal, to also submit hard copies of the documents — including the written consent of the academic supervisor — to the Doctoral Studies Department of the BSU Center for the Organization of Scientific Activity and Innovations.
