BSU Announces Results of the "Young Scientist of the Year" Competition
Baku State University (BSU) has announced the results of the "Young Scientist of the Year" competition, held in honor of Azerbaijan’s Youth Day.
Following the decision of the competition committee, Lala Gahramanli, a senior lecturer at the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials, was named "Young Scientist of the Year" in the field of natural sciences and engineering. She was awarded a diploma and a cash prize in recognition of her achievements.
Additionally, four other university researchers were honored for their outstanding scientific contributions:
- Muhammad Bagirov, a doctoral student at the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials
- Gulnar Atakishiyeva, a research fellow at the Laboratory of Organic Synthesis
- Dashgin Mukhammedli, deputy dean of the Faculty of Information and Document Management
- Nigar Seyidli, a doctoral student
Each of them received a certificate of honor and a cash prize.
This annual competition highlights BSU’s commitment to fostering young scientific talent and supporting groundbreaking research in various disciplines.
