Asmetkhanim Mamedova, Associate Professor of the Department of Middle Eastern Languages and Literature at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Baku State University (BSU), and Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, participated in the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference titled "Revival of the Singing Nation" held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The event was organized under the auspices of UNESCO by the International Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures, with support from Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Culture and Information, in collaboration with the TURKSOY Writers' Union and the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art.

Invited personally by renowned Azerbaijani ally, world-famous writer, and public figure Olzhas Suleimenov, Asmetkhanim Mamedova delivered a presentation on "The Role of Olzhas Suleimenov in the Development of Azerbaijani Literature."

This prestigious event highlighted the enduring cultural and literary ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and underscored the significant contributions of figures like Suleimenov to regional and global literature.
