10/09/2025
The autumn season in Azerbaijan starts with the equinox at 22:19 on September 22, according to BSU astrophysicists.
At that moment, the autumn equinox will take place: the Sun, moving along the ecliptic, will cross the celestial equator, shifting from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere. As a result, autumn will begin in the Northern Hemisphere, while spring will start in the Southern Hemisphere.
The autumn season in the Northern Hemisphere will last 89 days, 20 hours, 43 minutes, and 45 seconds.
