Astronomical spring will officially begin in Azerbaijan on March 20 at 13:01:25 local time, according to the Department of Astrophysics at the Faculty of Physics of Baku State University (BSU).

The season will last 92 days, 17 hours, 40 minutes, and 46 seconds. At this precise moment, day and night will be of equal length, as the Sun moves along the ecliptic, crossing the celestial equator from the Southern Hemisphere to the Northern Hemisphere.

With this transition, spring will commence in the Northern Hemisphere, while the Southern Hemisphere will mark the beginning of autumn.
