BSU Astrophysicists: Second Solar Eclipse of 2025 to Occur on September 21

Astrophysicists at Baku State University (BSU) have announced that the year’s second solar eclipse will take place on September 21, 2025. This will be a partial solar eclipse.

According to the Department of Astrophysics at BSU’s Faculty of Physics, the eclipse will start at 21:29:32 on September 21 and end at 01:53:33 on September 22, lasting 4 hours and 22 minutes. The maximum phase will occur at 23:43:04 on September 21.

The eclipse will be visible from the Pacific Ocean, New Zealand and Antarctica, but will not be visible from Azerbaijan.
