Baku State University (BSU) has been awarded the "Employment Performance Improvement Award" by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for enhancing its reputation among employers and improving employment outcomes.

The award was presented to BSU Rector Elchin Babayev by QS Global Director for Strategic Partnerships and Engagement, Ms. Monica Hornung Kattan, at the "QS Higher Ed Summit: Europe 2024" event held in Spain.

The award recognizes leading European higher education institutions that have significantly improved their employment outcomes and employer reputation. This is the second award presented to BSU at this event.

Notably, BSU has achieved significant success, ranking 271st globally and becoming the country's leader in the "Employer Reputation" indicator in the QS World University Rankings 2025.
