A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Baku State University (BSU) and Bayburt University of Türkiye.

The document was signed by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Bayburt University Rector Mutlu Türkmen.

The memorandum aims to develop cooperative ties between the universities. The agreement provides for the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and academic staff.

Founded in 2008, Bayburt University is considered one of Türkiye's most prestigious universities. It has 9 faculties, 6 vocational schools, and more than 16,000 students.
