BSU Biology Graduates Admitted to Top Global Universities
This year, 22 out of 228 graduates from the Faculty of Biology at Baku State University (BSU) have been admitted to prestigious universities worldwide. Some of these universities – including Imperial College London, the University of Manchester, Korea University, and the University of Birmingham – are ranked among the top 500 institutions in the QS World University Rankings 2026.
Many of the graduates received full or partial scholarships to continue their studies in countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Lithuania, Israel, Poland, Korea, Russia, and Türkiye. Several were awarded state program scholarships and international scholarship grants.
The main fields chosen by the graduates include modern and priority specialisations such as molecular biotechnology and molecular biology, genetics, medical and pharmaceutical biotechnology, public health and social epidemiology, molecular cell biology, international relations and security, as well as biotechnical and medical information technologies.
