A delegation from Baku State University (BSU) met with Yu Baotao, Chairman of the University Council of Anhui University, on the sidelines of the World Congress of the Chinese Language in Beijing.

During the meeting, the BSU delegation provided information about the university’s ongoing development initiatives and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation with Chinese universities. It was noted that the agreement on a dual degree program in Philology (Chinese Language and Literature), signed between BSU, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and Anhui University, plays a significant role in advancing educational exchange between Azerbaijan and China and further deepens cooperation between the two universities.

The sides also discussed the potential for expanding collaboration beyond Chinese language and literature to additional academic fields.

The BSU delegation held further meetings with officials from the Ministry of Education of China and representatives of various universities participating in the congress.
