The delegation from Baku State University (BSU) participated in the 1st Chinese Language Conference in Beijing, organized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China (PRC). The main goals of the event included ensuring the quality and innovative development of Chinese language teaching in the PRC and other countries worldwide, expanding exchange and cooperation between China and the world in the field of linguistics, fostering mutual understanding, and promoting friendly relations.

Rector Elchin Babaev and a delegation from BSU took part in the conference and parallel forums, which involved over 4,000 guests. Discussions were held regarding the integration between BSU and several Chinese universities. Rector Elchin Babaev participated in the official opening and closing ceremonies of the conference, organized by the Ministry of Education of the PRC, as well as in a banquet held in honor of the participants.
