A delegation led by Elchin Babayev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU), participated in the 62nd session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).

During the session, held in Vienna, Rector Elchin Babayev engaged in a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings, discussing strategies to enhance BSU’s international collaborations in scientific research. These meetings facilitated an exchange of perspectives on ongoing university projects, potential integration opportunities, and joint research initiatives.

The COPUOS Scientific and Technical Subcommittee session serves as a key platform for shaping global space policy, sharing scientific and technological advancements, and fostering international cooperation in space-related research and development.
