A delegation led by Elchin Babaev, Rector of Baku State University (BSU), held a meeting at Renmin University in China. Rector Babaev highlighted the steadily growing ties between Azerbaijan and China and underscored BSU's close collaboration with Chinese universities in the fields of science and education. He expressed particular interest in establishing a dual-degree program at the master's level in fields such as economics and business management, as well as in creating a joint department or research laboratory.

ğZheng Xinye, the Vice President of Renmin University, expressed confidence that collaboration with BSU would flourish. He emphasized their interest in student exchanges, as well as exchanges of academic and administrative staff, and the organization of summer schools.

Renmin University, founded in 1937, collaborates with 310 universities from 61 countries. The university, with over 28,000 students and 1,970 faculty members, is known for its international partnerships and educational excellence.
