BSU Employees became Winners of the 5th KOBİA Grant Competition
Ilyas Nasibov, Director of the Center for Student Scientific and Technical Creativity of Baku State University (BSU), and Sara Rahimzadeh, a lecturer at the Faculty of Physics, have become winners of the 5th grant competition of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).
The main goal of Ilyas Nasibov's project "Clean-Charge" is to ensure fast charging of electric vehicles (EVs) using "green energy," even when there is no power source. This system, capable of providing fast EV charging at home, in the city, on intercity roads, and in areas without power lines, will be more accessible, safer, and more eco- and budget-friendly compared to its counterparts.
Based on Sara Rahimzadeh's project "Creation of Smart Irrigation Technology (SmAgTech)," it is planned to create a smart irrigation technology with low costs and high quality, as well as to study its practical application.
