BSU Employees Win KOBİA Grant Competition
Reyhan Mirsultanova, Engineer at the Center for Student Scientific and Technical Creativity of Baku State University (BSU); Shirkhan Humbatov, Senior Lecturer at the Physics Department; and Muhammed Baghir Bagirov, Doctoral Student in the Department of Chemical Physics of Nanomaterials, have been named winners of the sixth grant competition organized by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).
Reyhan Mirsultanova’s Irrigo Irrigation Project aims to minimize water usage in agriculture by developing an ecosystem that purifies unusable water from organic pollutants, salts, and heavy metals. This purified water can then be reused for irrigation through a cyclic system. The project aligns with the goals outlined in Azerbaijan’s "National Strategy for the Efficient Use of Water Resources."
Shirkhan Humbatov’s project, titled "Development of High-Efficiency Solar Cells with Hybrid Perovskite-Liquid Crystal Structures," focuses on advancing innovative solar battery technologies.
Muhammed Baghir Bagirov’s project, "Development of Super-Capacity Batteries Based on GO/PANI (Graphene Oxide/Polyaniline) for Efficient Energy Storage," aims to create advanced batteries with superior energy storage capabilities.
These groundbreaking projects highlight the innovative contributions of BSU researchers in addressing critical scientific and technological challenges.
