Baku State University (BSU) is establishing a new research laboratory focused on plant biotechnology and immunology.

The decision was approved by the University’s Academic Council as part of efforts to strengthen scientific research and address pressing environmental and agricultural challenges.

The laboratory is expected to apply modern biotechnological approaches, develop innovative solutions for agriculture, and actively engage young researchers in scientific work. Its primary mission is to translate research outcomes into practical solutions for the agricultural and environmental sectors, as well as to design projects and support their implementation in production.
