A delegation from Baku State University (BSU) has visited Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, BSU Vice-Rectors Huseyn Mamedov and Alish Agamirzayev, the Director of the Center for Education Organization and Management Elchin Mammadov, and Advisor to the Rector Mirza Mirzayev met with Tashkent State Pedagogical University Vice-Rector Firuza Ikramkhanova and other officials.

The delegation emphasized that fostering relationships with universities in Turkic-speaking countries holds a significant place in BSU's international strategy. In recent years, BSU has established collaborations with various scientific and educational institutions in Uzbekistan. The cooperation agreement signed between BSU and Tashkent State Pedagogical University was highlighted as particularly important for strengthening these ties.

The meeting also addressed accelerating internationalization efforts between the two universities, organizing teacher and student exchange programs, and developing double-degree initiatives.
