The heads of the departments of the Faculty of History at Baku State University (BSU), Associate Professors Azad Rzaev and Abutalib Jalilov, participated in the V International Scientific Conference 'Comparative Historical and Philological Studies in the 21st Century'.

The conference took place at the Ural Federal University in Yekaterinburg, Russia, and the visit of the BSU scholars was based on an agreement signed in 2019 between the two universities.

Abutalib Jalilov presented on the topic 'History and Philological Faculties of BSU: History and Modernity,' while Azad Rzaev spoke on the topic 'Heydar Aliyev – the era of revival'.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the chairman of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yekaterinburg, Shahin Shikhlynskiy.
