A delegation from Baku State University (BSU), participating in the "Global Congress on Sustainable Development" organized by the "Times Higher Education" (THE) agency, held a meeting at Kasetsart University in Bangkok.

The meeting was attended by Shabnam Safarova, BSU's Advisor to the Rector on Digitalization and Information Technologies; Rauf Hasanov, Head of BSU's International Relations Department; Chongrak Wachrinrat, President of Kasetsart University; Supapatpimol Simlee, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Chamaipak Maiklad, Assistant to the President for International Affairs; Apisit Songsasen, Dean of the Faculty of Science; and representatives of the Faculty of Education.

The parties discussed mutually beneficial cooperation between the two universities.

Established in 1943, Kasetsart University is the largest university in Thailand. The QS World University Rankings 2021 ranked Kasetsart University 149th in Asia and 801-1000th in the world.
