Head of the Department of New Media and Communication Theory Jahangir Mammadli was awarded Diploma of the Ministry of Education, Professor of the Department of the History of Azerbaijani Literature Tehsin Mutallimov, Advisor-Professor of the Department of Sociology Izzet Rustamov, Head of the Department of History of Philosophy and Cultural Studies Rabiyat Aslanova, Head of the Department of International Relations Agalar Abbasbeyli and Professor of the Department of History of the National Press Nasiman Yagublu were awarded by the Badge "The leading educator of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

The awards were presented by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev.
