BSU Graduates to Pursue Doctoral Studies at Prestigious Universities Worldwide

In the 2025/2026 academic year, five graduates of Baku State University (BSU) will continue their education in doctoral programs at leading universities around the world within the framework of the State Program on Education of Young People at Prestigious Higher Education Institutions Abroad for 2022–2028.

BSU graduate Khadija Akhundova has been admitted to Queen Mary University of London (United Kingdom) to study Medical Engineering. Zohrab Aliyev will pursue Earth Sciences at the University of Glasgow, Samira Ismayilova will study Chemistry at the University of Bristol, Edgar Shahbazov will specialize in Molecular Biology at the University of Manchester, and Natig Hamedov will continue his education in Chemistry at Istanbul University (Türkiye).

BSU congratulates its graduates and wishes them success in their academic and scientific endeavors!

It should be noted that within the framework of the State Program, a total of 19 young people will study at prestigious universities abroad in the 2025/2026 academic year.
