The URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) organization has published the results of the 2024 ranking. According to these results, only Baku State University (BSU) from Azerbaijani universities made it into the ranking this year, and compared to the previous year, it has climbed 285 positions.

URAP has been publishing global and ranking results since 2010. The organization collects data from databases such as Web of Science and InCites, using information from universities that have published the highest number of articles. Additionally, the universities' performance is assessed based on several indicators.

BSU was the only university representing Azerbaijan in the corresponding ranking.
