Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev has been admitted to the Research and Innovation Strategy Group (RISG) of the European University Association (EUA).

RISG members are the leaders of the Sorbonne University (France), KU Leuven (Belgium), Tilburg University (Netherlands), the University of Oslo (Norway), the University of Lodz (Poland) and other higher education institutions, including the chairman of the Association of Institutions of Higher Education in Switzerland. BSU is the only institution from Azerbaijan represented in RISG.

Еhe Research and Innovation Strategy Group is well placed to develop a research and innovation strategy for the Association's universities.
