A meeting was held at Baku State University (BSU) with representatives from Hefei University of Technology in China.

The parties discussed further strengthening cooperation between the two universities.

The meeting was attended by the Advisor to the Rector, Shabnam Safarova, the Head of the International Relations Department, Rauf Gasanov, Deans of some faculties and their deputies, as well as faculty members. The guest delegation was led by Zhang Sihong, the Director of the International Relations Department at Hefei University of Technology.

During the meeting, in accordance with the signed memorandum of understanding between the two universities, opinions were exchanged on the development of a joint double degree program in relevant fields.

The parties also discussed such issues as the implementation of joint projects in the fields of science, education, and culture, the development of opportunities for academic, scientific, and cultural exchange, cooperation in scientific research, and the organization of joint summer and winter schools.
