BSU Hirsch index has increased by 2 points
According to the official information of the international information agency Clarivate Analytics, the Hirsch index of Baku State University (BSU) has increased by 2 points over the last 4 months and reached 55. The average number of references per work has increased to 6.68.
BSU employees, doctoral students, and students have already published 3744 scientific papers in journals included in the Web of Science database. These works have been cited more than 25,000 times. In 2022, more than 5470 references were made to the works published by BSU scientists in these journals. It should also be noted that BSU maintains its leadership among universities in Azerbaijan in these indicators.
The h-index is an author-level metric that measures both the productivity and citation impact of the publications, initially used for an individual scientist or scholar.
