BSU History Museum Reopens After Renovation
The History Museum of Baku State University (BSU) has officially reopened after renovation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rector Elchin Babayev said the renewal reflects the university’s achievements and ongoing development, noting that the museum will continue to serve as an important space presenting the history of Azerbaijan’s first higher education institution.
The museum is organized into three sections covering the periods of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, the Soviet era, and independence. It features historical documents, photographs, academic equipment, and gifts from international visitors.
Among the key exhibits are honorary doctorate diplomas awarded to Heydar Aliyev and Ilham Aliyev, along with archival materials, anniversary publications, and early architectural plans of the university campus.
The renewed museum offers visitors a comprehensive insight into BSU’s history, academic heritage, and development.
