The final meeting of the Academic Council of Baku State University (BSU) for the 2024/2025 academic year was held.

Rector Elchin Babayev opened the meeting by presenting the agenda items to the participants.

Vice-Rector Farda Imanov reported on the progress of the spring semester examination session and the results of the State Final Attestation. He noted that an Examination Headquarters and an Appeals Commission were established to ensure operational control over the examination process and to maintain transparency in assessing students’ knowledge. It was highlighted that both the success and quality indicators of the examinations had improved compared to the previous year.

Chairman of the Appeals Commission, Elshad Gurbanov, presented a report on the review of applications, proposals, and complaints received through the Ministry of Science and Education Hotline. Chairman of the Anti-Plagiarism Commission, Kamala Alysheva, reported on the commission’s activities and results for the academic year.

During the meeting, diplomas were awarded to Reyhan Magerramova, a graduate of the BSU and University of Business Innovation and Sustainability of America (UBIS) dual degree program, as well as to Ismail Zeynalov, Shefa Hagverdiyeva, and Lale Akberova, graduates of the BSU and Holon Institute of Technology (Israel) dual degree program.
The meeting concluded with discussions on current issues.
