Baku State University (BSU) held a preliminary meeting with mentors selected for the FUTURE17 Challenge programme. The meeting was attended by Asiman Ilyasov, BSU Rector’s Advisor for Quality Assurance.

Participants exchanged views on the programme’s objectives, upcoming stages, the role of mentors and the mechanisms for working with participants. It was noted that the programme aims to draw on mentors’ expertise and experience to help participants develop innovative ideas, improve their projects and support initiatives addressing real-world challenges.

BSU is one of the partners of the FUTURE17 Challenge, implemented by global higher education analytics and rankings organisation QS in collaboration with the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. The project supports young people in developing innovative ideas and initiatives linked to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aimed at addressing social and environmental challenges.
