BSU Holds Training on Labor Rights and Legislation
Baku State University (BSU) hosted a training session on “Labor Rights and Legislation” as part of its cooperation with the National Observatory on Labor Market and Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
Gunel Bakhshiyeva, Deputy Head of the Department at the State Labor Inspection Service, led the session, providing participants with in-depth information on key aspects of labor law. Topics included employee-employer rights and obligations, procedures for signing and terminating employment contracts, working conditions, social protection measures, and the role of state oversight.
Conducted in an interactive format, the training encouraged active participation, with attendees engaging in discussions and asking questions. The event helped deepen participants’ understanding of labor legislation and strengthened their awareness of rights within the workplace.
