Baku State University (BSU) is organizing the Young Scientist of the Year competition, dedicated to February 2 – Azerbaijan Youth Day.

The aim of this annual competition is to recognize master's students, doctoral students, and BSU staff members under the age of 35 who have achieved outstanding scientific results over the past year.

Winners of the competition will be awarded the title of Young Scientist of the Year in the following two categories, along with diplomas and cash prizes:

•    Natural and Technical Sciences – 1 prize (2,000 manats)
•    Humanitarian and Social Sciences – 1 prize (2,000 manats)
