BSU hosts a conference "The role of law and legal education in developing countries with transition economy: Azerbaijan as a sample"
The conference on "The role of law and legal education in developing countries with transition economy: Azerbaijan as a sample" was held at Baku State University. The conference was organized by BSU, Academy of Justice under the Ministry of Justice and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).
Speaking at the conference rector, academician Abel Maharramov noted that a strong and reliable legal system is a base of a healthy investment climate.
Dean of the Faculty of Law, Professor Amir Aliyev said that this event is an appropriate platform to learn the experiences of developed countries, such as Germany and Lithuania, as well as developing countries, such as Moldova, Macedonia and Georgia.
Participants had heard reports of a rector of Justice Academy Elchin Halafov, Professor at Moldova State University Olesea Plotnik, Professor at Vilnius University Jurgita Paužaitė-Kulvinskienė.
