A scientific conference dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the prominent journalist, well-known public and scientific figure Nasir Imanguliyev was held on December 28, 2021 at Baku State University (BSU).

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev spoke about Nasir Imanguliyev's creative activity. He underlined the invaluable merits of Nasir Imanguliyev in the formation of Azerbaijani journalism.

The event was attended by Head of the Department of Theory of New Media and Communications Jahangir Mammadli, Deputy of the Milli Mejlis, founder of the “Ədalət” newspaper Agil Abbas, Deputy Chairman of the Board of AZERTAG Dagbeyi Ismayilov, Rector of the Academy of Television and Radio of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC Telly Panahgizi, Honored Journalists Flora Khalilzade and Ilgar Hasanov, professors Gulu Maharramli, Allahverdi Mammadli, Tahir Aydinoglu, editor-in-chief of the “525-ci” newspaper Rashad Majid, editor-in-chief of the “Şərq” newspaper Akif Ashyrly and Sharaf Jalilli.
