Baku State University (BSU) and "Azerbaijan Science and Innovation Volunteers" have organized the 1st Scientific Conference of Baku and Regional Youth with the financial support of the Youth Foundation.

Director of the Center for Organization of Scientific Activities and Innovations of BSU Mais Suleymanov and Dean of the Faculty of Biology Afet Mammadova shared information about the implemented projects, educational and scientific policy in Azerbaijan.

Guest speaker Kim Jiseok made presentation entitled «Triboelectric Nanogenerators (TENGs): a novel energy harvesting idea from an old and well-known phenomenon».

Project leader, student of the Faculty of Biology Zuleikha Ganbarova, Chairman of the Organizing Committee Sevinj Gumbatova, Organizer of the Project Afsana Surkhayly, members of the Program Committee of the Conference Alekber Huseynzade and Orkhan Gyulahmedov made speech at the event.
